ARANGKADA 2023
Gearing Towards Sustainable Youth Coalitions
The theme, “Arangkada,” meaning accelerate, aptly captures the spirit of the Summit. With over 500 youth organizations from the YouthLed network now actively implementing their advocacies and projects in their local communities, the momentum is building. The Summit celebrates these achievements and sets the path forward for sustained impact. Join us this Sept 28-30, 2023!
What does ARANGKADA 2023 aim to achieve?
ARANGKADA 2023 will focus on collaborative engagement, upskilling, and strengthening youth networks–guided by the Philippine Youth Development Plan 2023-2028.
1
Showcase Youth-Led coalitions
Participants will be exposed to on-the-ground efforts of youth-led coalition movements across the country through project exhibits from different coalitions and implementing partners.
They will gain insights on potential challenges and strategies to address them, enabling them to adopt relevant strategies for their organizations.
2
Strengthen Youth Alliances
The Summit will foster stronger alliances among youth networks nationwide and create a more enabling environment for youth to engage with democratic institutions such as the government, private sector, and civil society.
This collaboration goes beyond the Summit, promoting sustained networking and collective action among youth networks and coalitions.
3
Localize the Philippine Youth Development Plan (PYDP) 2023-2028
Participants will deepen their understanding of the PYDP 2023-2028 and explore ways to translate it into actionable solutions through localized and issue-based coalitions.
Toolkits and guidebooks such as the Deliberative Democracy Guidebook for Young Leaders and Strengthening Local Youth Development Council Toolkit will serve as important tools for the participants in their policy advocacies, programs, and projects aligned with the PYDP.
