Ching has managed an organization that uplifts the quality of education in the Philippines and has convened several organizations and initiatives that promote good governance and democratic citizenship among the youth. She also participated in distinguished international leadership programs, received several fellowship awards, and has taken lead roles in development and research programs on corporate social responsibility, policy development, and education.
Emil Benjamin Tapnio
Youth Leadership Development Specialist
Emil has over 15 years of technical and management experience in designing and implementing interventions for youth leadership in political participation and social impact with over $50 million in portfolio funding from foreign aid, international funding, and government projects. His areas of expertise include economic empowerment, entrepreneurship, education, and human rights, with a focus on youth political participation and social involvement.
Ma. Khrisma Soliven
Communications Officer
K has years of experience working in the field of education and communication in the development sector—often working with artists-activists, advocates, and organizations on impactful campaigns and programs that promote human rights, youth empowerment, quality education, social inclusion, and civic participation. Her approach to development communication is grounded in creative approaches, hope-based communications, pakikipagkapwa, and radical empathy.
Markus Ramon San Gabriel
Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Officer
Markus has spent his career in the development sector in areas of human rights, social enterprises, innovation, and policy advocacy. He also has experience with different Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning tools in the different sectors he has worked with.
Maria Anna Francesca Coronel
Finance Officer
Anna is the Senior Program Finance and Budget officer of The Asia Foundation Philippine Office. She has over seven years of experience in proposal budgeting and program finance management. Together with her team, she oversees a portfolio of multi-million awards and projects from government, bilateral, multilateral, and private donors.
Danpaul Santos
Assistant Program Officer
DP is a specialist in local governance and youth development, with 7 years of experience working in the government and CSOs. He co-developed policies and programs to localize participatory governance, strengthen the Sangguninang Kabataan, and promote citizen-led monitoring.
